Prepare product facts before the brief
- Photograph the actual item, packaging and included accessories from several angles.
- Record dimensions, materials, variants and features you can substantiate.
- Match prices, delivery statements, return terms and offer dates to your store.
- Check that supplier photos and videos are licensed for your advertising use. Dropshipping access alone does not establish those rights.
Do not turn a supplier’s unverified claim into your own ad claim. If a benefit cannot be supported, remove it from the brief. Avoid presenting a generated demonstration as proof of a result you have not observed.
Remake the product presentation
- Upload your owned or licensed reference file and accurate product images, logo and copy.
- Describe each change and what to keep, including people, shot order and pacing.
- Review the creative plan, output duration, resolution and credit quote. Confirm before generation.
- Watch the entire result in your Library. Check product details, captions, rights and claims before publishing.
Keep a useful opening, demonstration sequence and closing card, then adapt the product, logo, background and on-screen copy. Real people stay unchanged. For a concrete brief, use product replacement in a video ad or the unboxing template.
Review store consistency and rights
Use only an ad and brand assets you own or are licensed to edit. Existing real people stay unchanged; Clone Cut does not replace or alter them. Never imply a new endorsement from the person in the reference.
Make only claims you can prove, disclose AI-generated content where the platform or law requires it, and never publish fake testimonials or endorsements.
Check the finished video against your live product listing: color, quantity, included parts and offer terms should agree. A visually convincing render can still show an incorrect detail. Do not imply that a creator endorses your store simply because they appear in licensed footage.
For several product or hook versions, follow the UGC ad remake workflow. Review each quote and result separately. Read how AI video ad costs work before budgeting a batch.
Frequently asked questions
Can I clone a Shopify product ad?
Use a reference file you own or are licensed to edit, plus accurate product images and copy. Clone Cut works from uploads rather than importing a Shopify product link.
Can I use supplier footage for a dropshipping ad?
Only when the supplier or rights holder grants permission for your intended editing and advertising use. Verify the license rather than assuming it comes with the product.
Can I add stronger product claims?
Only add claims you can substantiate. Match the real product, store terms and typical results; do not invent testimonials or endorsements.
