UGC VARIATIONS

Remake one UGC ad into several versions

Start from one UGC ad you own or are licensed to edit. Reuse its structure and pacing while making deliberate variations of the hook, product, on-screen copy or aspect ratio. People stay unchanged; this workflow does not replace or alter real people.

Plan a version matrix

VersionChangeKeep consistent
Hook testOpening on-screen lineProduct, offer and main body
Product versionProduct images and accurate feature copyShot order and pacing
Copy testCaptions or call to actionProduct and background
Aspect versionFraming and caption positionsCore message and sequence

Treat the matrix as a testing plan. Change one variable at a time when you want to understand which creative choice mattered. A new aspect ratio needs a full visual review so captions and product details remain visible.

How to remake the ad

  1. Upload your owned or licensed reference file and accurate product images, logo and copy.
  2. Describe each change and what to keep, including people, shot order and pacing.
  3. Review the creative plan, output duration, resolution and credit quote. Confirm before generation.
  4. Watch the entire result in your Library. Check product details, captions, rights and claims before publishing.

Example brief: Keep the person, shot order and pacing of my licensed UGC reference. Use the attached product and logo. For version A, open with “A tidier desk starts here.” For version B, open with “Meet your new desk organizer.” Keep the body copy identical and use only the product features supplied. Review each version and quote separately.

Keep the creator and claims honest

Use only an ad and brand assets you own or are licensed to edit. Existing real people stay unchanged; Clone Cut does not replace or alter them. Never imply a new endorsement from the person in the reference.

Make only claims you can prove, disclose AI-generated content where the platform or law requires it, and never publish fake testimonials or endorsements.

Changing on-screen copy must not create a testimonial the creator never gave. Do not fabricate speech or imply an endorsement through product placement. Check permission for the proposed use, then review the full result rather than relying on a thumbnail. For specific edits, see product replacement; for structure, see the UGC testimonial template.

Frequently asked questions

Which UGC ad variations can I request?

Request hook captions, product versions, on-screen copy or a different aspect ratio. State what to keep and review each plan and quote.

Does a UGC remake replace the creator?

No. Existing real people remain unchanged. Do not fabricate speech or imply a new endorsement.

Can I use a competitor’s UGC video?

Only if you are licensed to edit that footage for the intended use. Public availability does not grant editing rights.
