AD TYPE TEMPLATE

Unboxing video ad template

An unboxing ad follows the moment a product comes out of its packaging: the box, the opening, the first look and the first use. The order of the reveal does most of the work, so the structure is easy to reuse across products.

It suits gifts, beauty, gadgets and subscription boxes, anywhere the packaging is part of the experience. You need clear photos of your own packaging and product from several angles so every reveal shot matches the real item.

Assets you need

  • Photos of your packaging, closed and open
  • Product photos from at least three angles
  • Transparent PNG logo
  • A licensed or self-shot unboxing reference

Sample brief

Use my licensed unboxing clip as the structure. Keep the hands unchanged. Show my box from the top at 0–2 seconds, then lift out my product using the attached photos. Add the caption “Meet Aero” at the reveal and “Free returns” at the end. Light wooden table background, warm daylight.

Adapt the product name, captions and timings to your own reference. Our UGC ad brief template explains how to describe each shot.

Compliance notes

  • The box, contents and product must match what customers really receive.
  • Do not show accessories that are sold separately as included.
  • If the product was gifted to a creator, disclose it where required.

Make only claims you can prove, disclose AI-generated content where the platform or law requires it, and never publish fake testimonials or endorsements.
