COMPARISONS

Best AI tools to clone viral video ads in 2026

Plenty of AI video tools now promise to “clone” a winning ad. They do quite different things. Some start from a public ad URL, some from your own files, and some offer ad templates rather than a reference. This comparison sets out what each tool publishes about itself, with a source link for every fact, so you can choose on evidence.

This comparison is published by Clone Cut. Competitor details come from each company’s public pages, checked Oct 2026. Prices and plans change, so confirm on the linked pages before you buy.

Clone Cut is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Higgsfield. "Genjutsu" is referenced only to describe a search term.

What “cloning” a viral ad means

Cloning a viral ad means reusing the structure that made it work, such as the hook, shot order, pacing and call to action, with a different product. It should not mean reusing someone else’s footage, music, script or people. Tools differ on where the reference comes from and what they keep, so it is worth checking both before you buy. Our viral ad clone guide explains the structure in detail.

How we compared

We used only each company’s official pricing pages, feature pages and help centre articles, checked in Oct 2026. Where a company does not publish a fact, we say “not published” rather than guessing. Prices are the starting public price as listed, and many tools discount yearly billing. Clone Cut’s own prices are on our pricing page.

Notes on each tool

Clone Cut

Upload a licensed reference video plus product images, logo, background and copy; review a plan and credit quote; confirm; results go to a private Library. Existing people stay unchanged.

Edits are limited to products, objects, backgrounds, logos and text, and an optional AI virtual host does not correspond to any real person. Credits reserved for a task that ends without a delivered video are returned. Purchases are currently closed; see pricing. Trial amount, maximum resolution and maximum duration are not listed here.

Creatify (Ad Clone)

Creatify’s Ad Clone page says it can “remake any ad from a URL”: you supply a winning ad’s URL and your product URL, and it keeps the hook, pacing and beats, “never their brand or lines”. It says its agent can find long-running ads in the Meta Ad Library, and shows variations such as new hooks, a Spanish version, creator or scene variants and a 4:5 feed version. The page offers “Your first video is FREE · No credit card”.

On the pricing page, Ad Clone is listed in Pro and above. Paid plans are Standard ($15/month, $10 billed yearly, 55 credits), Pro ($55, $38 yearly, 280 credits), Max ($95, $66 yearly, 730 credits) and Business ($195, $136 yearly, from 1,500 credits with 10 seats); Enterprise is by contact. Paid credits expire after two months. The free plan includes 300 AI actors. How the free first video relates to Ad Clone’s Pro listing is not published.

Tagshop (Ad Clone)

Tagshop lists “Ad Clone – Replicate winning ads, your way” on all tiers (Ad Clone page). Yearly-billed plans are Starter at $14/month (600 credits, “Upto 60 videos”), Growth at $39 (1,800 credits) and Pro at $79 (3,600 credits), per its pricing page. Monthly pricing, the free allowance and the input method for Ad Clone are not published.

Topview

Topview’s pricing page lists yearly-billed plans: Plus at $36/month (100 credits a month), Business at $44, Ultra at $50 and Team at $56 per seat. Yearly tiers include 365 days of unlimited generation on several models. Monthly pricing, a free plan and a dedicated ad clone feature page are not published.

VidMuse

VidMuse offers a one-time 100 free credits for non-commercial use, then Pro at $39/month ($33 yearly, 4,000 credits), Ultra at $99 (12,000 credits) and Studio at $159 (20,000 credits), per its pricing page. Its site has a “Winning Ads” mode with templates such as Viral Ad, UGC, Unboxing and Cinematic Ad. Whether it can recreate a specific reference ad is not published.

Arcads

Arcads’ pricing help article lists monthly credits by plan: Starter 8,000, Creator 16,000, Pro 48,000, Scale 96,000 and Business 192,000, with Enterprise custom. Dollar prices are shown in the app rather than on that page; yearly billing is 20% off. The trial needs a card (no charge during the trial), gives 1,000 credits for 72 hours and then converts to Starter monthly.

On Starter and Creator, generation stops when credits run out; on Pro and above, overages roll to the next bill and unused credits roll over without expiring. Every plan includes all video models, with output up to 4K (models article), and the AI agent “Mark”. Creator and up add Workflows, background removal and AI subtitles; Pro and up add team seats, custom actors and voice features. Failed generations refund credits automatically. A clone-from-URL feature is not published.

Higgsfield

Per Higgsfield’s Oct 2026 pricing post, paid plans start from $15/month, Team is $79 per seat and Scale is $215 per seat. The free plan has 0 credits, limited image generation and one Character, and is not for commercial use. Subscription credits reset each cycle and credit packs expire after 90 days (credits help). Its products include Genjutsu, Ads Studio, Marketing Studio (UGC), Content Factory and AI Influencer.

Where Clone Cut fits

Clone Cut is reference-led and upload-only. You start from a video you own or have licensed, not from a URL to someone else’s ad, and existing people in the reference stay unchanged. You see a plan and a credit quote before anything runs. That suits brands and agencies with their own winning ads or licensed creator content. It suits you less if you want to generate new AI actors or start from a public ad link.

How to choose

  1. Decide where your reference comes from. If you own the reference, an upload-based tool fits. If you want to work from a public ad URL, check the rights position first; see is it legal to copy a competitor’s ad.
  2. Decide how people should be handled. Keep your own creators, or generate AI actors?
  3. Check the free allowance and commercial terms. Some free plans are non-commercial.
  4. Check credit expiry. Some credits expire after a set time; others roll over on higher plans.
  5. Run one small test with the same brief in your top two tools.
